- 5,000 calls: $2.50 on TweetAPI vs $4 on TwitterAPIs.

Cost for Common Workloads
Both providers bill per call, so these costs don't depend on how many Posts a page returns. The examples assume no free trials, no existing balance, and no retries.
| Workload | TweetAPI | TwitterAPIs |
|---|---|---|
| 5,000 calls in a week | $2.50 of units; a $5 PAYG pack leaves 5,000 units | $4 of credit; a $10 top-up leaves $6 |
| 100,000 calls in a month | $17 Pro plan | $80 |
| 500,000 calls in a month | $57 Ultra plan | $400 |
| 2 million calls in a month | $197 Mega plan | $1,600 |
| 10,000 likes or follows | 10,000 units: $5 on PAYG | $8 |
| 1,000 posts or DMs | 1,000 units: $0.50 on PAYG | $1.60 |
| 100 account logins | 5,000 units: $2.50 on PAYG | $1 |
TweetAPI's highest rate, $0.0005 on PAYG, is already below TwitterAPIs' $0.0008, so for normal calls TweetAPI's usage price is lower at any volume. The exceptions are logins, when you're on TweetAPI's PAYG, and TwitterAPIs' larger free credit.

How the Pricing Differs
TweetAPI sells prepaid units, from $5 for 10,000, and optional monthly plans, from $17 for 100,000 units to $757 for 10 million. When a plan's allowance runs out, requests use prepaid units instead of stopping. Most calls cost one unit, an X Chat message 10, and a login 50. Rejected requests (400, 401, 403, 409, 422, 429) and server errors aren't billed. See the pricing page for every plan.
TwitterAPIs has no plans. Every standard read and simple write costs $0.0008, posting and DMs cost $0.0016, and heavier endpoints cost more, up to $0.01 for login. Credits never expire, crypto top-ups get 2% extra credit, and 429 responses aren't billed.
Rate Limits
TweetAPI limits requests per minute: 10 on the trial, 60 on PAYG and Pro, 120 on Ultra, 180 on Mega, 300 on Giga, and 500 on Tera.
TwitterAPIs' documentation says it has no platform rate-limit caps, though bursts can still get a 429 during traffic spikes. Its comparison page against TweetAPI lists 600 requests per minute per key, with 20 in flight. Either way, that's more than any TweetAPI plan; Tera allows 500.
Posting, DMs, and Account Actions
Both providers support account actions with credentials for the X account you control.
- TweetAPI covers posting, replies, likes, retweets, follows, bookmarks, list and community actions, profile updates, legacy DMs, and encrypted X Chat. Most actions cost one unit.
- TwitterAPIs charges $0.0008 for likes, retweets, follows, bookmarks, and deletes, $0.0016 to post or send a DM, and $0.01 to log in. Its own comparison page says it doesn't support encrypted DMs.
For write-heavy workloads, TweetAPI costs less per action. TwitterAPIs logins cost less than TweetAPI's on PAYG.
MCP and SDKs
TweetAPI runs a hosted MCP server at https://mcp.tweetapi.com/mcp with OAuth sign-in and read-only tools, and its source is on GitHub. Official Node.js/TypeScript and Python SDKs cover the REST API.
TwitterAPIs runs a hosted MCP server with account sign-in, also published on npm, and its tools include posting, likes, and DMs. It has no SDKs; its docs give code examples for several languages.
Monitoring
TweetAPI has no monitors inside the API. You can poll any endpoint on a schedule, or use our separate managed real-time alerts service.
TwitterAPIs sells monitoring as an add-on: one account is free, and paid tiers start at $15/month for 6 accounts.
