Welcome to TweetAPI. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the TweetAPI website and services.
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Service provides access to Twitter data through our API for legitimate business purposes including analytics, market research, and brand monitoring.
TweetAPI is an independent third-party service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp (formerly Twitter, Inc.) or any of its subsidiaries. All Twitter/X trademarks and logos are the property of X Corp.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Materially inaccurate information may result in suspension or termination of your account.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account, authentication credentials, and API keys, and for activity conducted through them.
You must not disclose your credentials or API keys to unauthorized parties. Notify us promptly if you become aware of a security breach or unauthorized account use.
TweetAPI owns the Service software, website content, and branding, excluding third-party content and data. These materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, your applicable free-plan, subscription, or PAYG entitlement grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse engineer our software or underlying technology except as permitted by law or with our written consent.
Our service offers different subscription tiers with corresponding API rate limits. You agree not to exceed or circumvent these limits or otherwise abuse the Service.
We reserve the right to monitor usage to ensure fair use of our system. Attempts to circumvent rate limits may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account.
We may modify API functionality or limits for operational, security, legal, or business reasons. We will provide reasonable notice of material adverse changes to paid plans where practicable.
Some parts of the Service require payment. By purchasing a paid plan or PAYG units, you agree to pay the price and any taxes or other charges shown before you confirm the purchase.
Prices and billing intervals are displayed before purchase. We may change prices prospectively, but a price change will not alter amounts already paid or due for a current prepaid period.
Recurring card subscriptions renew for the billing interval shown at checkout unless canceled. Cryptocurrency plans are prepaid, do not renew automatically, and must be renewed manually.
Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) API units are manual one-time USD purchases, not automatically renewing subscriptions. Packs contain 10,000 units for $5 USD, 20,000 for $10 USD, 40,000 for $20 USD, or 100,000 for $50 USD. Units are credited after verified payment confirmation. Top-ups repay any wallet deficit before adding to the available balance.
PAYG units expire 365 days after successful payment settlement. When a top-up is applied, the whole still-valid wallet uses the later of its existing expiry and settlement plus 365 days. Already expired units are never restored. Payment before the old deadline alone does not guarantee an extension if the top-up is applied after the wallet expires. If you paid before expiry but application was delayed, contact support@tweetapi.com for review and correction or another appropriate remedy for confirmed processing errors.
Billing and your payment confirmation show the resulting expiry in UTC. If a confirmed payment does not deliver the purchased units, contact support@tweetapi.com with your purchase reference for review and correction of confirmed non-delivery.
Available free-plan or subscription allowance is used first, then valid PAYG units automatically. Canceling a subscription does not remove valid PAYG units. Standalone PAYG is limited to 60 requests per minute; a higher active-plan limit is preserved.
Units measure API usage, not the number of tweets returned. Most metered calls cost 1 unit; /tw-v2/xchat/send costs 10 and /tw-v2/auth/login costs 50. Metered responses with HTTP 200–499 are billable except 400, 401, 403, and 429. Billable empty results, pagination requests, and each separately submitted retry or repeated request use units.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers under their applicable terms and privacy notices. We may suspend paid access when a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or overdue.
Voluntary 30-day card refund: First-time card subscribers may request a full refund of the initial subscription charge within 30 days of purchase. This voluntary policy is available once per customer and does not limit any rights provided by law.
Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, subscription fees are non-refundable after that period, including for unused time or unused request allowance.
Voluntary subscription refund requests must be submitted to support@tweetapi.com within the eligible period. A refund may end access associated with the refunded purchase.
The voluntary 30-day card offer applies to the initial subscription charge, not a PAYG purchase. Contact support for PAYG billing errors, duplicate charges, or undelivered units. We investigate and correct confirmed errors. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory withdrawal, refund, or service-conformity rights.
PAYG refunds revoke units in proportion to the refunded purchase amount, rounded up to whole units. A payment dispute revokes the entire related purchase's units, less units already revoked for refunds, even if the disputed amount is smaller. If the available balance cannot cover the revocation, PAYG shows a deficit and is unavailable while that deficit remains. Top-ups repay deficits first. This does not suspend an otherwise valid subscription or prevent lawful billing complaints or mandatory remedies. Buying more units is not a condition of requesting a remedy.
Blockchain transactions are ordinarily irreversible. Cryptocurrency payments are therefore generally final after confirmation, except where a refund is required by law or we expressly approve one.
The voluntary 30-day card refund policy does not apply to cryptocurrency payments.
When you prepay multiple months, the included request allowance is added to your account after payment confirmation and may be used immediately at your plan's existing rate limit. Unused prepaid requests expire on the displayed paid-through date and do not carry forward after the subscription expires.
Use card payment for a first-time subscription if you want eligibility for the voluntary 30-day subscription refund policy.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Unless suspended or terminated under these Terms, a canceled subscription remains active until the end of its current billing period.
After the billing period ends, your account will be downgraded and API access limits will be adjusted according to your new subscription status. Canceling a subscription does not cancel or remove valid PAYG units, which remain usable until their expiry subject to the PAYG balance and payment-reversal rules above.
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal data.
You agree not to use our Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates the rights of others, including:
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these policies.
You are solely responsible for how you use, store, and process any data obtained through our API. Data retrieved through TweetAPI may be subject to X Corp's (Twitter's) own terms of service and usage policies.
You agree not to use data obtained through our Service for purposes that violate applicable laws, infringe on individual privacy rights, or breach any third-party terms of service.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, upstream dependencies, security events, and other circumstances may affect the Service.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue part of the Service for operational, security, legal, or business reasons. For material adverse changes to a paid Service, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and honor any remedies required by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TweetAPI and its personnel and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, use, or goodwill.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free or that every defect will be corrected. Mandatory warranties and consumer protections remain unaffected.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify TweetAPI and its personnel against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from your material breach of these Terms or unlawful use of the Service.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Consumers retain mandatory protections available in their country of residence, and jurisdiction is determined by applicable law.
We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational, or business reasons. We will post the updated Terms and provide additional notice of material changes where required or reasonably practicable.
Changes apply from their stated effective date. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and may cancel a recurring subscription before its next renewal. Changes do not remove rights or remedies that cannot be waived by law.
